Getting Started
Finding Books
- Use our online catalog to see if we have the books you need to conduct your research. Some books may be in electronic format.
- Search WorldCat to find books in other libraries.
- Need to order a book? Create an ILLiad account and submit a request. Books may take between 7-14 days to arrive. If you're searching WorldCat and already have an ILLiad account, just look for the "Request via Interlibrary Loan" link to submit your request.
Finding Articles
- Begin with a comprehensive database such as Academic Search Premier or Academic OneFile. Need help with search terms? Library staff will be happy to assist you.
- Search one of our subject-specific databases.
- Know exactly which database you need? Check out our A to Z list.
- If you are able to look at the abstract but not the article, we will be glad to order the article from another library. Articles may take between 2-7 days to arrive. If you have created your ILLiad account, just look for the "Request through Interlibrary Loan" link to submit your order.
